Village Survey, Sachin, Gujarat
40 acres of the town Sachin in Gujarat has been surveyed aerially with the help of a drone. The outputs shown below can be used by a variety of stakeholders that are involved in developing the area.
Ariel Survey
Ariel survey of the village using drone photogrammetry.
Orthomosaic
This output can be viewed in any photo viewer software. The Orthomosaic has achieved 99% coverage of the area, with 48 images/pixel.
DEM - Digital Elevation Model
The Digital Elevation Model output is in .Tiff format. The legend below the image indicates the building heights and the heights of the trees. This format is very resourceful in land use planning.
DTM - Digital Terrain Model
The DTM captures the contour levels of the terrain excluding the objects such as buildings, vegetation and utility structures.
Point Cloud Model
The point cloud is a 3D model which can be used for spatial understanding and generating renders.
3D Mesh Model
The Mesh Model output is in .Obj format. It is formed from a textured mesh joining the points in the point cloud model.
